Using AWS Transfer Family with Amazon S3
AWS Transfer Family enables the transfer of large amounts of data into and out of Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). It supports several protocols, including FTP, SFTP, and FTPS, allowing you to choose the method that best fits your needs. To use AWS Transfer Family with S3, you first need to set up an S3 bucket to store your data. Then, you can create an AWS Transfer Family instance and configure it to use the S3 bucket for data transfer.
Once your AWS Transfer Family instance and S3 bucket are set up, you can start transferring data using the chosen protocol. For example, if you choose SFTP as the protocol, you can use an SFTP client like WinSCP, FileZilla or Cyberduck to connect to your AWS Transfer Family instance and transfer data to and from your S3 bucket. With the ability to transfer large amounts of data quickly and securely, AWS Transfer Family with S3 is an ideal solution for businesses that need to store and share large files, such as videos, images, and backups. Additionally, it is a cost-effective solution, as you only pay for the data transfer and storage you use.
