A  WEB  APPLICATION  FOR  FTP  OVER  LDAP

Client Problem:

A web based application to manage all files and folders inside an ftp server in a more secure and convenient way, making client access over the files online.

Client demands the following :

1. Every authorized user should have access only to their respective directory inside an ftp server which is accessible online.
2. Should have a provision to upload,download,delete,copy,move,rename files between the clients and server system.
3. Should be able to add folders to their respective directories.
4. Multiple Uploading, Downloading and Deleting of the files.
5. Should not permit the uploading of .exe, .vbs and other unknown extensions to guarantee more security over internet.

Our Solution:

A simple, integrated user friendlier application which comes up solutions for all the above mentioned needs.

• We ensure the authorized user credentials by checking it with the actual AD server where the user details are stored.
• Upon successful validation we redirect the user to their respective directory in the Ftp server.
• Provides multiple uploading, downloading and deletion of files from the Ftp server.

• The manager needs to collate all the spreadsheets from different branches manually.
• Delay in receiving files from different sites and generating the reports manually.
